This week for Maori we had to make Whai cats cradle and string game. We use pieces of strings. We made the para shot and the 2 of diamond.
What did you learn?:I learnt how to make a para shot and 2 of diamond.
How did you learn?:I learnt by going on to you tube and watching a video about how to make a 2 diamond.

Maori
Today for Maori we had to go on you tube and learn how to make a weave fish. The first thing that we did was read the story of the wellington taniwha then we had to go and on google maps and find 4 places in the story which was te awa-kairangi-hutt river, matui island-soms island, whanganui a tara air port. The name of the book that we read was called the taniwha of wellington harbor.

Maori
Today for Maori we talked about Matariki. Maori new year is on Friday the 15th of June which means that Matariki is starting. Our Maori teacher's name is Miss Whea Odie. Miss Whea Odie gave us a word search to do and we had to do our name, at the back we had to write the Matariki song.

Miss Odie teached us about Matariki. I was working by myself to watch the videos. Then I had to make a DLO of Matariki and what you know about Matariki. I learnt about what Matariki is and why people celebrate Matariki. I learnt by listening to Miss Odie.

Maori

This week for Maori we made a slide presentation. We had to talk about ourselves, who is in our family, were you live and what school you go to. The other thing that we did for Maori was faces. We had draw faces the faces that we had to draw was a cold face, a happy face, angry face and a sweaty face. We had to write at the bottom kei te pai, kei te makariri, kei te riri and kei te wera. Kei te pai means happy, kei te makariri means cold, kei te rir means angry and kei te wera means hot. we had to write happy, cold, angry and hot in Maori.
